Your officiant, your story, told with care
We're not just reading words—we're helping you shape the most meaningful moment of your wedding day.
How it started
I performed my first wedding ceremony for close friends who couldn't find an officiant that felt right. They didn't want religious, but they didn't want cold and impersonal either. So they asked me.
I treated it like a creative project: I interviewed them separately, gathered their stories, and wrote something that tried to capture who they actually were as a couple. When I delivered it, their guests laughed and cried. Someone told me afterward it was the first ceremony that didn't feel like a formality.
That moment stuck with me. I realized most ceremonies fail not because the officiant is bad, but because no one takes the time to make them personal. So I started taking that time—for every couple, every ceremony.
What began as a favor for friends became The Officiants. Over the years, we've grown into a team that shares the same philosophy: every ceremony should sound like the couple getting married, not a template with names swapped in.
We've now performed hundreds of ceremonies across Southeast Florida—ballrooms and backyards, beaches and rooftops, ten guests and three hundred. Each one different, because each couple is different.
Your ceremony, brought to life
A ceremony should feel warm, not stiff. It should sound like you talking to each other, not a legal proceeding. It should make your guests lean in, not check their phones.
We believe in structure—a ceremony needs rhythm and pacing to land emotionally. But structure should be invisible. What your guests experience is spontaneous feeling, not a script.
We also believe in collaboration. You know your relationship better than we ever will. Our job is to ask the right questions, organize your stories, and find the words that make them resonate. The ceremony belongs to you—we just help bring it to life.
